The Grand Auditorium is Taylor's most versatile body shape and is suitable for any playing technique. The 614Ce also features Taylor's V-Class bracing, which provides increased volume, extended sustain and improved intonation. Maple back and sides give the guitar tonal transparency. The top is made of torrefied (heat-treated) sitka spruce for optimised vibration behaviour. The pickup is Taylor's own active ES2 dynamic piezo system with bass, mid and treble controls.
